Looking at the two of my favorite Kpop boybands, I could’nt help compare SHINee and DBSK. A lot have stated that SHINee is the younger counterpart of DBSK, and I quite agree, except for the the genre each performs. Everyone says that SHINee will follow DBSK”s footsteps and DBSK is very supportive of their beloved dongsengs.
DBSK and SHINee have displayed how their tight and friendly relationship towards each other. During the Golden Disk awards, where they sit close to each other and during the MKMF awarding ceremony when SHINee wowed the crowd by doing their own version of Rising Sun.
SHINee, obviously showed their support to their hyungs by doing their own covers of DBSK”s famous songs: Mirotic and Midhuyo. They’ve done it quite well, if you ask me. (Jonghyun sounds just like Junsu.)
I would’ve liked to see DBSK do Replay with Yunho following Taemin’s popping.
I hoped that SM ENT. would provide project for these two groups. Like SuJu’s Fullhouse or their E.H.B. except that the reality show this time would feature both DBSK and SHINee.
I’d like to see this happen…

- Dance Showdown: Taemin vs. Yunho (Who pops harder?)
- Piano Showdown: Onew vs. Micky
- Onew’s Condition vs. Junsu’s Oyaji gags (Which do you think is less corny?)
